Easy Hot Apple Cider

Food, Uncategorized

There is really nothing better than the smell of Christmas, am I right ?

I love hosting any time of year but i feel like its extra special during the holidays. Preparing a big meal, getting super full and then sitting around playing games. I love everything about it, the setting of the table, the cooking, and the preparation with little extra touches here and there.

This year i wanted to have that smell in the house without cooking a massive turkey dinner, we are waiting until new years for that big turkey meal. So I made my Hot apple cider in my crock pot. Not only is it super easy but it also gives you that amazing holiday smell in your home. This recipe is so easy and you really can’t mess it up.

Prep Time: 5Mins

Cook Time:3Hrs

Total Time: 3Hrs5Min ( Cook on High)

Serves: 12-15

INGREDIENTS:

1 Gallon of Unfiltered Apple Juice

1/2 Cup Maple Syrup OR 1/2 Cup of Sugar

1/4 TSP Ground Cloves

1/2 Litre of Cranberry Juice

2 Cups of Orange Juice

2 Cups of Fresh Cranberries

3-4 Cinnamon Sticks

1 Orange Sliced

Tip: Make sure to remove orange slices if you’re storing in the fridge to prevent a bitter taste.

I always like to spice up the drink to look pretty.

Example: For each individual cup you could…. Add a couple fresh cranberries, maybe a personal cinnamon stick or orange slice. To get extra fancy you can line the rim of the cup with sugar for those guests looking for a bit more sweetness.

SERVE AND ENJOY !
